Considering Vygotsky’s views on culture, learning and development, develop an original example of a Vygotskian approach to “instruction.” (Remember, instruction can be defined loosely, and your example can be about a learning situation that might occur outside of a traditional classroom setting, but in a setting within your own profession.) Be sure to include a discussion of specific concepts that Vygotsky discusses, with a description/explanation of at least 3 of the following: zone of proximal development, scaffolding, intersubjectivity, private speech, mediating tools.
